The Prince and the Author

(Fair Use)
Question: What is it that Prince George and Mark Twain have in common?

Answer:  They both have a healthy distrust of the institution called “school.”

Mark Twain allegedly said:  Never let school interfere with your education.  Hang this in a classroom today, and you might end up at the principal’s office.

Prince George (smart little fellow) seems to instinctively know all this.  At age four, he is already showing signs of schooltime blues. Seeming perfectly content when Daddy William walked him to class, the Little Prince then wanted to run right home.

Although parents Will and Kate intend to be “heavily involved” in their son’s schooling, perhaps George himself will not be.  He might prefer to read Twain classics from the comfort of his own castle.
