Because of this, she is contemplating withdrawal from her sport.
Although fans say to shrug off the losses, Rousey is not cut from that kind of silky cloth.
Rough around the edges, Rousey’s style is more “winner takes all.”
This competitive drive has served her well in the past. On the losing end, however, it falls apart.
Support is coming from one who knows all too well the ups and downs of sports: Kobe
Bryant. He recently wrote: Instead of clapping
for [Rousey’s] defeat, give her a standing O
for putting the sport on the map.
Now MMA is not for everyone, and many think rightfully so.
Nevertheless, an O for Rousey’s dedication and determination is certainly due.
