These days, people are feeling a
bit more friendly toward such
slippery characters. When a fellow
recently discovered a boa under his
car hood, what do you think he
did? What any reasonable person might: dial up 911 in a hurry.
The
authorities came and bravely tackled the task. “Multiple police officers, in
addition to an animal control
officer, arrived at the scene.”
After safely
coaxing the boa from its cubby hole, police transferred custody to
animal control. They were heartily assured
that this particular serpent “will
be properly cared for.”
