Just one thing from Santa

For too many of us, the Christmas season means hustle and bustle.  But one little girl has it figured out already.

When finally given a turn to sit on Santa’s lap, the tired-out tot had one thing in mind.  Tantalizing toys were not even on the radar.  Nor was cold hard cash. 

When jolly Saint Nick asked what she most wanted, her reply was simple:  A nap! 

If only we all were so clear.  Peace on Earth – whether physical, emotional or societal –  tops it all.
