What's a few decades when you've known each other for lifetimes?

So what if Richard Gere is 67 and his girlfriend a mere 33?  Both believe that they first met many lifetimes ago. 

Which fits right in with the reincarnation theology of Buddhism, a religion that Gere has long adhered to...  This time around, he was introduced to Alejandra Silva while borrowing a boat from her father.  They then reconnected years later, and have been virtually inseparable since.

Some call it karma, others call it love.  Gere and Silva no doubt call it both.
