Whether dinosaurs were on the original Noah’s Ark is debatable, but they will certainly show up on AiG’s 510-foot model. AiG’s
representation of the biblical ark is currently being built in Williamstown, Kentucky. This “Ark Encounter” will open to the public in July 2016.
AiG stands for “Answers in Genesis,” and is the title of a Christian organization that takes the Bible absolutely literally. President Ken Ham and his followers contend that “the Earth and its universe were created 6,000 years ago in six days.”
Because Genesis explains that “all the animals were made in one day,” AiG members conclude that there must have been dinosaurs on the Ark.
Lindsay Tucker of Newsweek
reports that they “disparage anyone who doesn’t” adhere to their particular beliefs.
