Victory in Victoria: 'Humanity at its best'

After a Victoria, Texas mosque was recently

destroyed by fire (cause still unknown), love rushed in to heal the devastation.

CNN reports that “leaders of the local Jewish congregation” handed over the keys to their synagogue so that members of the Victoria Islamic Center could worship there.  Three nearby churches also offered the use of their buildings.

Not only that, a GoFundMe page has thus far raised “more than $1 million for the mosque’s reconstruction.  Additional donations have poured in “from people in 90 different countries.”

Members of the Muslim congregation now feel “a sense of hope.”  Omar Rachid declared:  It’s humanity at its best.
