Boxing gloves aside, Muhammad Ali is still very much the fighter.
Taking a whack at injustice, Ali recently called upon fellow Muslims to “stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda.”
Are you listening, Mr. Trump?
Ali further explained that politicians should clarify to the public how “misguided murderers have perverted people’s views on what Islam really is.”
This most famous of contemporary Western Muslims then concluded:
True Muslims know that the ruthless
violence of so-called Islamic Jihadists goes against
the very tenets of our religion.
