Sylvester Stallone certainly put the punch in punchlines during his Rocky runs.
Yet there is life even beyond the eighth Rocky film. An everyday husband who is not prone to shouting “Yo Adrienne” recently outdid Stallone
on the punch front.
When a shark attacked his surfer wife, Mark Rapley sprang into action. He jumped atop the great white and began punching its head. The shark then did what Rocky’s contenders have done: gave up the fight.
Rapley somehow managed to get his wife safely to shore. She underwent surgery for serious leg injuries and is currently in stable condition. Which just goes to prove: heroes exist in real life also.
