It all comes down to socks

Did Bill Clinton sock it to George Herbert Walker Bush during their recent reunion?  Not likely, but the two did talk socks.

After all, Clinton has long been envious of Bush’s footwear.  Back in 2013, 42 coveted 41’s “cactus-themed” socks.  Since then, it’s been a going theme between the two world leaders.

When not talking socks, they have focused upon “kids, grandkids, old times and new times.”  Kind of like you and me, except for those old and new times.

Socking away historical memories is a favorite pastime of former presidents.  How nice that these would-be rivals have instead found so much in common.
