Shine on, Steph! (Photo by Keith Allison) |
But some say that last year’s MVP has been selfless to a fault ever since Durant came along. After
Christmas Day’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, even Curry admitted: I’ve just got to figure out a way to be more
aggressive.
When Durant joined the Golden State Warriors, Curry assured him that there was plenty of room for two stars in that galaxy. True to his
word, Curry has been “more concerned with making others comfortable” than with being Numero Uno.
All that's probably why Curry, within a mere six months, “has gone from transcendent to replaceable.” But hey, that’s only basketball.
In spiritual terms, humility is always transcendent.
