“Black Friday,” the commercial event that is now lasting longer and longer, may soon turn bleak for Walmart.
Reuters reports that workers at approximately 1600 Walmart stores are planning a Black Friday protest.
They are demanding higher wages ($15 per hour), benefits, and “consistent full-time work.”
This worker group, OUR Wal-mart, threatens to “be on the street on Black Friday” if these demands remain unmet.
