Ninety-year-old William Shatner (aka “Captain Kirk”) recently experienced the apogee of his life. During a ten-minute sojourn to the edge of space, the veteran actor summed things up with these two words: “Oh, wow!”
Now you may have seen plenty of pictures of Earth from a blue-dot perspective. But, as Shatner then added, “No description can equal this.” Sometimes you just have to be there in order to grasp an essence. FaceTime is one thing, face-to-face time quite another.
