So where did the chicken come from?

Chicken or egg, egg or chicken:  Which came first?  That is the age-old question.

Stephen Hawking had thought it was the egg that came first.  Although a genius, he was proven wrong in 2010.  It was then that British researchers discovered a protein “called ovocledidin-17” which “controls the egg crystallization process.”

This protein comes from a chicken’s ovaries.  So in order for the egg to even form, a chicken had to be there first.  But the question remains: Then where did the chicken come from?  Science has yet to discover an answer for that.
