Two Little Pigs

Two little pigs will live to see another day, thanks to a pardon from the Miami-Dade County mayor, Carlos Gimenez.

Mayor Gimenez spared them from being the main course at a Nochebuena feast.  Latin Americans often substitute roasted pig (lechon) for turkey during Christmas Eve celebrations.

Layla and Luna aren’t lucky ducks, but they sure are lucky pigs!  And to think – they didn’t even have to bother with extensive home repairs.
